Is it snow?

At the end of February, I showed a photograph of raindrops hanging on a "wild Plum" tree outside our bedroom window. There are, in fact, two such trees near the house. The other is just below the bathroom window, and here it is!

Seen sunlit in the early morning through the frosted and distorting glass panes of the window, the spread of white can give the impression that it has been snowing overnight, and that the entire garden has a blanket of snow.

It most assuredly does not!

Carrying on with the snow theme, we observe the petals now falling rapidly from the blossom, and dropping to the ground. That gives the impression with the sun shining that it is actually snowing...

Please note our Christmas Tree in its seasonal rest out of doors. It has been in contributions to Blipfoto several times before (often around Christmas-time, big surprise), but also here on October 16. Perhaps this image will reassure Orchid99 that it is still a real tree! No plastic here, except for garden chairs...
