Mr Linscott + mr tumnus
Today was a Latin trip to oxford. On the way I sat with Maia, Judy, monisha and Laura, and to our joy and surprise, mr Linscott joined us too. We all had fun with Linscott the bantersaurus Rex, doing a book of Latin crosswords I brought and we played a game of cheat - it was a wonderful start to the morning. When we arrived, we walked around a bit and then headed to st Hilda's for a talk on Cicero which was really interesting. We had lunch there and then went to the ashmolean. While there I found a coin which was really good for my research dossier on Caligula and I also saw mr Linscott nearly topple over on to a statue which was wonderful. We then headed over to Exeter where we had a seminar-style thing on Aeneid 4 which is my absolute jam. I really enjoyed the session and I think professor Hutchinson quite likes me bc I answered at least a solid 60% of the questions and he was so cute. On the way back to the minibus I asked mr Linscott if I could sneak into the fudge shop and get a free sample which he proceeded to allow. I chose sea salt caramel and shared it with him - we both enjoyed it greatly. On the way back I sat with Maia, Farrah and again our hero Linscott and even more banter was had. Oxford was so beautiful and the day definitely made me want to go there. I had such a good time and really enjoyed the lectures and I think this may have been one of the best days I've ever had
