The Thick Dogs rise again.

Well, come ON. If you had Erythronium dens canis what would you call it/them?

Not much to report.

There was an interesting bit of ornithology earlier on, not deemed to be photogenic, but the tale bears telling, so ... Earwig OH!

On the "Chicken" Sunday; the carcase (Aparently "they" never use other than "Carcass") gets boiled to make stock for soup.
The remains litter the back lawn until there's virtually nothing to gather in &/or put in the Chiminea.
Today I spotted the usual (?) crow being as dainty as usual. Then it popped across to a plant saucer, well submerged in the yet to be tended part of the veg plot and move some grassy stuff. I waited until it moved on and went to check.
I moved the grasslike stuff, 2 new Beech leaves, a green leaf and an old leaf which had been in the saucer under water for some time.
Beneath that lot I found 5 small fragments of chicken, under the water in the saucer.

Must keep an eye out and see if s/he remembers where it hid them.
