Memories

I am most definitely NOT one of those over 50s who constantly bores others with "when I was young ....."!! but every now and then you see or hear something that takes you way back into the past I saw this today and could easily recall the hours of fun my sisters and I had on one of these in the garden......and the go cart made of a wooden box on which dad had screwed some old pram wheels with a rope for a steering wheel ........and the stilts made of old beans cans with two pieces of string for handles.......sigh! We didn't have ipads or mp3s but that didn't mean we weren't happy or didn't have fun. Sometimes the simplest things in life are the best and the fact that they are often free is a bonus!!
