Up the Junction

Jolly boating weather for some and for me a meeting here with a friend I've known for over 20 years but we haven't had a meet up for about 6. We met at the Junction Inn pub at Norbury Wharf and managed to partake of a spot of lunch between lots of conversation, laughter, many happy memories and general catching up which we continued with on our long walk up and down the towpath.

A lovely day off and we vowed we wouldn't leave it so long to meet up again. Alot of my friend's handiwork can be seen all around the canal network as she is a traditional canalware painter and signwriter.
