Green
I had a good Wednesday.
Hubband was off today as he was on call last night, so we cracked on with some much needed house sorting out. Lunch from Smile Cafe (Delish Italian cafe, slow but good). Quick trip to Botanic Gardens to blip this photo, Catch up on I-player of The Great British Sewing Bee with the kids. Lastly Parent's night for Elise - utterly fantastic report, top group for everything and very helpful and kind in class - that's my girl. Amber had an amazing report too a while back, so as a well done treat we'll be having a family trip to the cinema to see the Lego movie this weekend.
And now for today's challenge word - desuetude meaning a state of disuse.
This photo is looking down on the Botanic Gardens train station, you can just about make out platforms at the side. This line was opened in 1896, this station closed in 1939. This linktakes you to a site with more info and loads of great pictures of inside the tunnels. I was very tempted to make this mono but I just loved all those vibrant greens too much!
