Small dog, big shadow

Well Kilbo is not really small but he seemed dwarfed by the shadow he was casting on the beach today. As per normal he looked the other way when he knew he was being photographed!

Found out today that my new boots are totally waterproof (although my trousers aren't...) when Mayar dumped the tennis ball where the Elliot Water meets the sea. It seemed shallow enough to retrieve the ball easily enough but as I splashed out found out it got deeper! It was also very disconcerting walking with the river flowing at different depths and speeds in one directionand the tide lapping against it in tbe other direction. Was glad to escape the mighty Elliot delta in one piece!
