Beware! Low flying dolphins.

Another slow day. There's a competition running on C4 at the moment that starts with "How does a taste of island life grab you?", a question that is greeted with a torrent of colourful language in this house. When the weather is this crap, with another serving of winter on the way, the novelty can wear pretty thin.

Anyhoo, I've one last thing to share with you from the beach-walk on Sunday. Rod the ranger assures me that this is a cetacean vertebrae. I don't know if they knock back Red Bulls by the score or not, but those fins on the bone look extraordinarily long to me.

I've lots and lots of passengers on the bus tomorrow, but I'll take the camera with the expectation that I'll be empty on the way home so that I can stop along the way. Of course I may have to take pictures out of the window!
