Happy Hump Day!

Every Wednesday, the security guard in our building places bets with her fellow security guards on how many people will say "Happy Hump Day!" to her as they enter the building. If you're not familiar with the saying - Wednesday, being the middle of the work week, is a hump you have to get over to get to the end of the week. Thus - Hump Day.

She started subtly prompting people to say this by putting the stuffed toy camel on her desk. Her collection of camel props is slowly growing, and now includes the T-Shirt she's holding in the photo.

It always makes me smile when I see her camels and hear her big "Thank you!" when I give her the simple greeting she's waiting for - a great way to start a day in the middle of the week.
