Waterdogs?
In large you can see the splash the ball made falling into the lake (Tahoe) . The black dog, who listened to the elaborate name of Mirasol was going full speed into the water, Maggie is breaking already. She doesn't like the water to come higher than her elbows at best.
But they had a lot of fun there and so did we. It was our anniversary today and we drove up to the Lake for a nice walk through the forest and on the beach, and afterwards we had a lunch at Garwoods, a restaurant right on the water with a little pier and an old fashioned boathouse right next to it.
The weather was gorgeous, blue sky and sun, but cool up there (48 degrees F), as soon as you got out of the sun. There was no wind whatsoever so I posted the same view as 3 days ago for you to compare. The lake surface is like a mirror here and no faffing this time.
Much to our surprise we saw a lonely guy on a board paddling over the lake, pretty far away. He had a wetsuit on and in case he would fall in, that might be life saving as the water is still ice cold.
It was a great day and I decided to go back as often as I can. It is still quiet up there but the weather is so beautiful. Our lunch was delicious and our 6 neighbors were from Great Britain which made me think of all of you over there in Europe.
When we came home we prepared the first veggie bed together, and put in some onions. I loved the feeling of working with the soil again.
And , last but not least, the PT wasn't as painful today as last time , so both I and the therapist were optimistic. :-)
Thank you for the appreciation for my sunrise. It was, as always, a big pleasure to read your comments. I will not answer to all of you but rather visit our journals.
