Fishing Trophy

Actually, it's a new opah hanging against the entry wall of iridescent tiles at a place called Nico's at Pier 38. The brass is a good way to render the opah because it is an orangey mottled fish. One of their specialties is the opah burger which is similar to a crab cake, i.e., not just a slab of fish on a bun. They are steps away from the morning fish auction, so you know the fish is fresh. G had poke bowl and I had - fish & chips! Sorry, the concept doesn't travel well to here. Back to my usual next time : chicken pesto caesar salad, which is very good.
