Bird in hand - Well, almost

Arriving back home from Tasmania, (if you have been following my Blips lately), I noticed that my Grevillea bush has commenced to flower despite the lack of any decent rain over the summer period.
The Rainbow Lorikeets come around late in the afternoon and today this one had a real feast on the flowers.
It was not at all concerned about my presence and I could almost touch it.
They often come over in flocks of fifty or more with quite a noisy squeal.

I know they can be really tame and will eat out of your hand but the wild bush variety are the best.
