weary jungling walkers

Enjoyed stretching my lungs and legs amidst Old Forest as a break from computer reports. Suddenly my musings and tranquility were interrupted with Jingling Bell-type sounds...but its not Santa time anywhere int he world is it? Then weary walkers-climbers jangled past me.
I briefly talked with these last ones (as they were quite slow), and this last girl said..."and we still have 2 more days to go!.." with slumped shoulders. Reality TV is nothing compared to local life!
Sorry I wasn't quick enough to take a photo of the Lyrebird that we saw...'we' being some Londoners watching in awe.
