Piano

An early start to the day. With K. needing to go to the dentist at 8am and myself needing to be in Leiden for 9am (on account of the massive crack in my windscreen), there was much chaos and confusion in the house. Just goes to show how driven by routine we are when a 20 minute shift in our normal activities just reduces the smoothly oiled machine we normally are to a broken down jallopy.

Amidst all this activity I'd lost track of B. who I eventually found practicing his piano pieces for tonight's lesson. The quiet in the storm - although judging by the way he was pounding the keys (think octopus with ADD) he might have been struggling to get over the volume in the house.
