Lydie

Although she never appeared in any of my Platform 2 series blips, Lydie is quite often on the train I take to go to Paris in the morning. We were in the habit of greeting each other on the platform, but had never talked.

A few weeks ago we found ourselves seated opposite each other and got to talking. About photography. Not that she practices herself, but she does like to visit shows.

Today we met again, on the platform, and chose to be seated together. She gave me tips about places that are open to showing work by local photographers. I'll enquire into that.

Plus, she told me very kind things about seeing my wife and I on the platform a while ago... Thank you, Lydie.
