Stratford Through New Eyes

I had to go to the surgery first thing (11am) for a blood test then across to Henley Street to meet Ann for coffee at our usual.

I wanted to try the new camera out on street scenes, but also one-handed whilst struggling against the wind threatening to take my hat off (I was one-handed because I was carrying a package of prescription pills in my other hand and, of course, men don’t carry sensible bags, though I do have a very good man-bag which hangs in the cupboard at home).

So I took some, and here is one of them (I wonder if the dog is called Sandy?). Overall I think I’m pleased with my compact, though miss the weight and stability of my bridge camera, which also has a manual zoom as opposed to the Sony’s electronic control (small and fiddly like everything else on the camera).
