One step at a time

Our first day in Cyprus and the poor man woke with a fever.

Thankfully the excitement of exploring a new house and garden appears to have offset the misery of his condition as he's handling it well - and loving climbing all the stairs! He's clearly not himself though.

We usually lay with the wee fellow to help him drift asleep in the afternoon, and then sneak away a few minutes later. However, he was having none of it today, waking and insisting I stay with him every time I tried to slide away. Ah well. At least we both had a good rest.

We're staying in a gorgeous villa here in Cyprus. The owners have gone out of their way to accommodate us, especially with the wee man. We'll see how we get on for the rest of the week but at this stage I'd highly recommend it to others.
