The Spring Equinox occurs today, at least for us here in the Northern Hemisphere. In the Southern Hemisphere, of course, the Fall Equinox is being celebrated. Supposedly...On the Equinox night and day are exactly the same length, 12 hours. 'Equinox' is derived from Latin, meaning 'equal night'. In actuality equinoxes don't have exactly 12 hours of daylight...but the name stuck!
Spring is a time to celebrate new beginnings or 'rebirth'. So...I wish a Good Spring Equinox to all of you in the Northern Hemisphere and a good Fall Equinox to those in the Southern Hemisphere!
