A New Season Arrives
Christmas has come to our neighborhood.
This is the house just down the street, on the corner. If it were next door to us, we'd put a big "Ditto" sign in our yard. Our neighbor actually said he isn't finished yet, he has more decorations to add to his yard. We think he's done an impressive job.
So we bid November farewell. We've enjoyed this month immensely. We're glad that December just adds to the excitement and the joy. Even though I feel like I have a marathon to run in the next 2 weeks to conclude this semester, I want more than anything to focus on the reason we celebrate during this month.
So while analysts, newscasters, and Wall Street managers are all concerned about marketplace mania -- the figures, the facts, the statistics -- and whether we're recovering or declining, we're reminded that they think this season is all about buying, but many of us know that this holiday is really about a Babe--Bethlehem's Babe.
So we're taking a deep breath and striving for focus this season so that we can enjoy every moment. We're looking forward to tomorrow, to December, to a holiday and to blipping our way through the next 31 days with you.
Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
