An attic day

I have been saying since Christmas that I must get up the stairs on a wet day and sort my attic.
Well today was the day, it couldn't have been any wetter and the wind was howling.

With photos and books up there it is very easy to get carried away, which I did on both counts.

Over the last few days the local radio have been telling us that we are coming up to the 40 years anniversary (April 1st) of Cumberland becoming Cumbria. We have loads of local books but most have Lake District or Lakeland in the title but very few actually mentioned the county.

I did find some more so if I remember and don't have another Blip they may be done on the anniversary day.
