God's Great Dance Floor

Wow. WHAT AN EVENING!

After a better Thursday at work, I left early to get some rest before the concert tonight which was in Abu Dhabi. Chris Tomlin on his Passion tour that has already taken in a few major cities including London and Hong Kong. They (the band) were so happy to be in Abu Dhabi, and for an open air concert too. We could see the stars.

When G ran the book shop, we sold Chris Tomlin CDs by the truck load, so it was really good to be able to see him on stage. The journey was smooth enough and we arrived at our seats (having jumped two queues thanks to Gold tickets) literally minutes before the concert began - promptly at 8:30. Well, you could tell it was going to be a great evening; but nothing to prepare us for the (Journal title). SO MUCH energy and joy with the two lead singers jumping on stage. I want to jump like that!!!

Louie Giglio delivered his "Indescribable" talk which included facts about how huge the universe is (mind boggling) and how Awesome God is (journal title alternative) and how the earth sizes up with the other heavenly bodies. It had us all gripped and thinking, especially when he mentioned Laminin... the glue that holds us together.

I could not have had a better start to my birthday. Safe drive home and I am blipping despite it being nearly 3am. I wanted to get this down while it was still fresh on my mind. If the Passion tour comes to or near your town; please think about going. If only to get some facts and figures of the universe and where/how the Earth fits in. Good night now. :))))
