Ink-stained Orchid

To me that it's what it looks like :-)
I always think how amazing nature is to produce a beautiful symmetrical bloom with sometimes asymmetric and random patterns.
This was given to me yesterday by a very caring friend in case I was feeling sad :-)


I was astounded this afternoon to watch a huge stoat run across a playground then school field whilst I was trying to teach a year 4 class netball skills! I stopped, pointed and yelled for them all to look :-) How exciting, it was headed for a nature reserve planted/set up years ago by Pete, staff and others.
