March Challenge: Day 19 ......

Desuetude.

Noun meaning: State of disuse.

I almost took a picture of our pool in the back yard since it has been desuetude since we closed it last September! I can't wait until the warmer weather so that we can use it again.

But instead of that I took a short ride to Nazareth to visit the once active Nazareth Speedway. Sadly, the speedway closed many years ago and is also desuetude. As is this lock that keeps us off the speedway grounds.

Not sure if you can tell but it was raining and very wet. And I only had my smartphone with me. I have added an HDR effect to bring out some detail.
