St. George's, Hanover Square

I last saw this church in 1994, even though I was an undergrad in London from 1996-99, when the county youth choir I belonged to performed here before going on a choir tour to Germany.

I remember it being a lovely baroque church, built during the reign of Queen Anne. Handel used to play the organ here as it was his 'local' - Brook Street is round the corner.

It was a happy memory to fall upon.
