Morning

Today is my last day at work before leaving for a trip to celebrate the first 40 years of my life. As I look back, particularly over the last 10 years, I have come a long way from my smallish home town of Derby, via Nottingham, London, Colchester, The Hague, Utrecht, Delft and now Göttingen. I am very lucky to have lived such a full (at sometimes too full) life this far. As I sit here on this beautiful morning, I think about the people I love, the truly amazing man that I love - who has shown his amazing emotional strength by being there for me when I needed him - and my friends, family, colleagues and S. my life coach, all of whom I feel very lucky to have in my life. I also think of the people who are no longer with us. Especially E. who I miss everyday, but whose love is still very much part of my everyday life. Thank you all for making my life wonderful. I couldn't have done it without you all! xx
