Angry Ant

Some bugs just don’t want to be blipped! As I approached this feeding ant, it turned around and stared at me in such an aggressive manner, and held the position long enough to grab a couple of shots. Clearly not happy about the intrusion of the big eye.

WOW! Amazing response to yesterday’s Mint Leaf Beetle. I never would have thought it possible for a beetle to reach top of spotlight! Thank you all very much for all the hearts, stars and such wonderful comments – you all brightened up my day no end :)
