Moss
I had a wander around the orchard and the farmyard this sunny and warm day. I noticed a comma butterfly and a sulphur yellow one actually landed on me but I was to dozy to get a shot of it before it flew off, disappointed that I wasn't a flower. Maybe the grass is starting to wake up but the trees are all leafless, exposing the lichens on their trunks and branches. The yellow one, Common orange lichen, was particularly evident.
I flattened a few mole hills which had been conveniently placed to help maintain the lawnmower in its permanent state of near collapse.
I noticed this moss in an old bath which is occasionally used for mixing cement. I'm not sure what kind of moss it is, there are 1000s to choose from.
