FLUFFY CUDDLES

so second day back on blip .....weather has been iffy today so decided that my picture today would be a collection of the doggies we have had through our home so far ...as i said yesterday we have started to foster dogs for a rescue center (Evesham Greyhound & Lurcher rescue) it was a decision made by all of us really.When we came to the point where we wanted a dog to join our family we did lots of research and decided that a lurcher would be the (breed) for us. The type of dog suited our life style & the size of our house and research showed that they were gentle, loving ,docile dogs who loved to run & go on walks but didn't need lots & lots of walking & on days where long walks were not an option they are more than happy to lie on their bed or sofa. Through this research we found EGLR and unfortunately at the time they didn't have the right dog for us so we got harry from else where......after having harry awhile we thought it would be nice to have a mate for him......but then decided it was maybe not such a good idea......then EGLR advertised they were looking for foster homes for dogs they take in ( & they take in a lot) PERFECT... we get to help luchers & sighthounds in need & harry gets playmates....we had our home check & passed then it was wait & see what our first dog would look like ......we are on our 4th dog now & i love it ....kids are learning important life lessons & know that the dogs we get in are here for love ,fuss & exactly the same treatment as we give our dog until they find their special forever home. We are he to put them back on the right track we are here to show them that they can trust humans again & that we are not all the same . I love having them here ,i love seeing harry playing & running with them .....& its safe to say this picture is only gonna get bigger but its nice to know i'm doing some thing to help these poor dogs .
