Skylark

Beautifully camouflaged amongst the long dry grass. Early morning down at Gibraltar Point Skegness. The black headed gulls were making a fantastic noise and yes Cro55ie there are definitely avocets but they were too far away for my camera.
I have two huge clumps of frog spawn. Hurrah! It was a difficult decision - skylark or frog spawn but clearly the pretty skylark with the little crest won.
