Next job

The area beyond the old gate has been neglected ever since we moved here 7 years ago.
It's crammed in between the house, the lane and the front drive and is shaded from all but the midday and high season sun. It's been taken over by laurel, brambles, ivy, cats and badgers and is my next project.
Today I made a start on cutting down some very tall shrubs.

It's probably going to take all summer.
