Thomas bed in hotel

We've had a busy day of preparing to go to Liz's wedding, packing bags and the car. I can't quite believe how much stuff we need for just two days and I 'm thinking we'll need to hire a bus for a week in France in the summer.

The journey up North took a while- the A1 is a nightmare on a Friday night. At times both children were screaming and Giles and I could only hysterically laugh in the front.

The picture is of Arthur 's Thomas bed in the hotel. After initially being very excited about his Thomas bed, Arthur is now in bed with giles. Our family room has two double beds- one for the girls and one for the boys! Giles' sleeping companion kicks and chatters. Mine is likely to be sick on me! So it's 10.56 and Arthur is still awake (although I have just heard a big yawn from him). Giles has just started snoring... Could be a long night!
