xi xiang li jiao

At least once every other week, The Goose and I get off here at the Xi Xiang Li Jiao stop, just a 20 minute bus ride from our school/dorm.

It's a medium sized shopping mall and grocery store. We can find the basics for our cooking of lots of veggies with rice or noodles. We don't get too much more adventurous than that since all we have to cook with is a hot plate and wok.

The mall is right next to a river that smells like sewage, and an always crowded bus stop that provides us with people constantly staring at us and giggling.

But we still love it nonetheless.
