Living in Christchurch

As the rebuild begins driving round Christchurch becomes harder and harder - it's all cones, barriers, closed roads, detours, one lane roads, and of course all the traffic being directed down a few open roads leads to congestion and driver stress.

A lot of the city where the CBD used to be is now a big parking lot, so there's never any trouble finding a park, but then there's not a lot to do in the CBD either, so not a lot of people wanting parking!

At least they are trying to do something, but oh it's slow!!
