Sleeping angel

So rare to be able to see my son in his bed. He's normally burrowed under his duvet like a dormouse. This evening, doing my routine quick check before going to bed myself, that he was ok, I found him like this and couldn't resist capturing his angelic face.

Looks like a Michelangelo angel, as if he's just stepped off the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Capturing these moments now whilst I can. Before he turns into a moody teenager and I can't even enter his room for the smell of boy!!



I have learned that real angels don't have gossamer white robes and cherubic skin, they have calloused hands and smell of the days' sweat
