Shades of pink

I do like all the shades of pale pink in this hyacinth in our garden. I decided on this one over a new type of daffodil that has opened in the garden, which is a double split trumpet one. It looks as if someone's gone a bit mad with scrumpled paper in the middle of it!

The weather is very changeable - between bright sunshine and pouring rain/sleet. It changes fast, too, due to the strong wind. There is a football match being played on the field at the back of us - games re-started last week after many months of no play due to the water-logged field. I guess the club must have lost a fair bit of money over that time.
