Look Out!

I bought a new compact camera and it arrived today. Its a little beauty including an HDR Auto Bracketing facility. Which performs pretty well.
Plus, it shoots RAW...

...however, and here is the catch, LightRoom does not support the RAW that it shoots! Oh ,No! So I have trawled around on line and found a download of software that enables the RAW to be opened in PS Elements, then saved as a jpeg and imported back in to LR. But what a performance. And it has invalidated one of the reasons for buying the camera in the first place.

This is one of the shots that I took a couple of hours to open up and tweak.

So, if you are turning left in your van or buying a new camera, LOOK OUT , and make sure you aren't about to come a cropper.


PS No crash victims were injured in the taking of this picture.
