Courtyard by Marriott, Gatwick Airport

Sometimes, my 'budgetness' overcomes me. This hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from the South Terminal - and it's basically pretty good. A good airport stopover if you need one (this is the first time I've ever done this, by the way). I got a good price on booking.com a few weeks ago. But when faced with the choice of a 10 minute walk and a £10 taxi ride at 11pm, after an afternoon and evening out in London, I really should have opted for the taxi ride.
