Under the flag

An early kick off at 1:25 this afternoon for Sheffield United as part of their 125th birthday celebrations. There were some pre-match events going on, tons of ex-players (the eldest an incredible 94) and a real buzz about the place. I was hoping for balloons galore and took my wide angled lens in anticipation - there were none. Instead you get to see what it's like under one of those giant flags that goes round a stadium. I love it, great thing to do before kick off.

They lost 2-0, but played very well in large parts of the game I thought. A great day at The Lane.
