Hi Ya Cynth!!

The big event of the day was the emptying of THE cupboard. We threw out much before moving into this house. It was a painful process. The stuff which we couldn't bear to throw out though had no place for it in the new house found its way in THE cupboard.

Over the two years we have stayed here, we have added to the contents of THE cupboard. In the past year, we haven't been able to fully open the door of THE cupboard. It was packed full to the ceiling. It was time to deal with THE cupboard.

The idea is to empty the cupboard. Done. Put in some shelves. Underway. It is likely to be two stage process. Stage 1 - put up shelves. Stage 2 - take them down again and put them back up differently with the benefit of the experience gained in stage 1.

Put the stuff back. This, I can see, will be problematic. It is unlikely that everything will go back. THE cupboard will have just as much space as it did when it was emptied. Painful decisions will have to be made.

Meantime, outside, things are moving to Spring.
