Kitchen sink drama

Stan is an angry young sink. He lives in an overcrowded, one-room skip in a grimy industrial area up north, where the other sinks sharing his scrap heap constantly row and fight with each other. When he's not working for the minimum wage, he spends his time in run down pubs discussing the ugly realities of everyday life in a rough-hewn accent with other equally dissatisfied and alienated young sinks.

He has a girlfriend, but her struggles don’t feature much, as she seems to spend all her time conversing with the other downtrodden woman-sinks over piles of washing, and generally clearing up the mess left behind by Stan and his ultimately flawed friends.
