Homage

To fellow blippers who have recently been demonstrating the beauty of buds and water droplets.

It was a still, grey, dry day today after heavy rain. I could not believe how long the water droplets hung on the branches of this willow - like perfect models posing tirelessly. I was there for nearly an hour discovering all sorts of things.

I usually have a little rant, or at least a sigh, when the automatic flash escapes my attempts to control it and, usually, washes all the colour out of everything. Happily, today it revealed an unexpected and unseen world within the water.
