FIRST BABIES OF THE YEAR (that I've seen!)

We went to Holkham Hall this morning and battled against the wind (again) to get down to the lake. This pair of Egyptian geese had eight young, the parents (particularly the male) were very aggressive towards any bird that came too close.

We then wandered down Lady Ann's drive and the pine walk and on to the beach. It was a lovely walk - sunny with a very strong wind blowing.
