Today Risca took on the mighty Blaenavon, and after a strong first half, Risca looked in control even though they squandered a few try scoring chances.

In the second half Blaenavon were having none of it and used the elements to their advantage pining Risca back in their own half. Each Risca attack ended up with a mistake that was kicked back towards their own goal line. Blaenavon comfortable controlled the second half.

Final score Risca 10, Blaenavon 24.
