GREEN FOR GO

They were testing out a new Metro tram on the line when I walked to the station with sister Joan. Sleek, smart, silent...I only remembered I had my camera with me after it had slipped past us and disappeared through the arch. It's great going into town on the tram. People are cheerful and chatty and never fail to assist if you need help. I'm not surprised that Manchester was voted the friendliest city in the UK earlier this year, just ahead of Edinburgh and way ahead of London. Hehe...
