Took this waiting for Mand in the carpark of her work. We were going to look at a derelict house in Malleny. Having seen it I can't believe how much they want for it.

...We've started sniffing around property in Edinburgh but it really is (still) a bizarre market. Things are either a really high fixed price or a ridiculously low offers over. Example - we travelled in last Thursday to look at something only to look up the house registry prices to find that the current owners bought it 2 years ago for more than twice what they have set as the offers over. Waste of time.

Called in at the Wilsons' on the way home so there wasn't enough time to cook when we got back (so you have been spared a macro shot of an aubergine and I got to have a Chinese).
