Stretch

Babysitting for our granddaughters this weekend so decided to take them to the Swan pond at Culzean Castle.

We took them for a trip round the pond and then went to feed the Ducks and Swans. The girls had a great time watching the Ducks fighting over the bread.

Then we headed up the coast with a quick stop at Prestwick where N was awestruck watching one of the search and rescue helicopters take off and fly right over us at low level. She wouldn’t get back into the car until she could see a plane leave. Lucky for us one of the Ryanair jets had started to taxi to the end of the runway.

Eventually it came roaring down the runway and lifted off right in front of us. Rather than being scared by the roar of the jet she just had a great big grin on her face.

Then we headed for some lunch before visiting family and coming home for dinner, bath and bed. All quiet now with the girls asleep and Mrs F and I relaxing.
