The Sun Always Shines on a Golf Course...
Allegedly :)
After a very busy week it was lovely to be able to set the alarm for three hours later than normal. Then another sneaky wee half hour which of course meant I was then running late. Oh well.
Kenny has joined D's golf club so today was his first round of golf as a proper member (been guest loads of time) Ele and I decided to have lunch with them at the club so we could laugh at them watch enthralled as they both tee'd off at the first (which is in full view of the clubhouse :) Neither of them had a particularly good first shot but apparently things improved from there.
Ele and I headed to Gloagburn for coffee and a scone and a wee wander in the shop. Drove home the scenic back roads when we passed a sign saying road ahead closed. Of course we both thought naw, they don't mean THIS road and kept going until the road did indeed close! Back track.
Ele and Kenny stayed for tea and since British Summer Time officially starts this weekend, Ele and I decided it was time to start getting Operation Gin Palace into gear.
Watch this space :)
