Narcissus calcicola

Another in my occasional series looking at Narcissus species. This one, about 15cm high, has several small flowers per stem, each having a cup shaped corona with straight sides.

Calcicole means 'lime lover' so this is a plant found where the soil is alkaline, often over limestone.
