Nebraska

We bought this painting many years ago before children. We saw it in an Art shop and it reminded us of Nebraska. I've spent many very happy summers there visiting friends. It reminded us of the corn fields and a tornado sky. One thing was missing & that was a dutch barn. We told the shop assistant that we'd love a barn on it & we took in a picture of one and the artist, Simon Fairless, agreed to do it. When we collected it Simon was in the shop and handed it over to us. If you look at Simon's website and click on Commisions at the bottom you'll see 'Nebraska' in all it's glory. The colours aren't good on mine as I didn't want to use a flash.

I decided to Blip this today after seeing ,TMG's Blip of a barn. Made me homesick for Nebraska....
