Shenzhen: Oh... I...

... do like to be beside the seaside... !

Once the weekend chores were done I set out for the seaside (three blocks away), to find most of Shenzhen had the same idea. Not a surprise really as we finally had a sunny, clear day - you can see Hong Kong's New Territories waving from across Shenzhen Bay. Great people watching.

It does make me smile to think, 10 years ago when we lived near Beijing the thought of a Chinese person hiring a bicycle, let alone hiring a bicycle for leisure pursuits, was not even on the radar. Oh how different (and rich) you are Shenzhen.
